I’ve lived in White Notley for around 14 years now and as a motor journalist, have looked at opportunities for our magazine, Jaguar World Monthly. Back in 2000 we had two Jaguar titles, Classic Jaguar World for the older cars and Jaguar Monthly for the modern Jaguars. I’d met Sir Andrew Stark a few times and he told me of his interest in Jaguars, going on to say that he had run them almost exclusively since 1958. So I sent journalist Adam Scorey along to photograph and interview Sir Andrew for a feature. I followed up for a long chat about his life and times finding them absolutely absorbing. This feature tells just a small part of his story, something that I am so pleased to have captured.
